Each question is scored out of the points you give it, adjustable in quarter points. If your rubric rewards the method as much as the result, the AI takes that into account.

Annotations and the overall comment write mathematical expressions in real notation (fractions, exponents, roots), on screen and in the PDF handed back to the student.
Your answer key as reference
Attach your answer key if you have one: the AI uses it as a reference for the expected results, while still scoring strictly against the rubric.

Your questions about maths papers
Can the AI read handwritten maths?
Yes: fractions, powers, roots and calculations written over several lines are read like the rest of the paper. As with any handwriting, quality depends on the scan and on legibility: a sharp, well-framed photo gives the best results, and reviewing remains essential.
What about geometry figures and graphs?
The AI sees the whole page, figures included, and can take them into account if your rubric covers them. For a construction where precision matters, check the proposed score when reviewing: that is the kind of point a human eye judges better.
Can I grade the method and not just the result?
Yes, if your rubric says so. For instance, write “1 point for the method, 0.5 point for the result” in the question's description: the AI splits the points accordingly.
How much does grading a maths test cost?
Usage is counted per graded page: 30 students each handing in a double sheet (4 pages) make 120 pages. The free plan includes 30 pages a month to try it, paid plans 250 or 500.
