Correxio is a grading assistant for teachers. You upload your students' handwritten papers (scans or photos) along with the exam and your rubric; for each paper, the AI proposes a score per question, an overall comment and annotations placed on the scan. You review, adjust what needs adjusting, then export.

No. Every score and every comment is a proposal: nothing is exported without your review, and you can change a score, rewrite a comment, delete one or add your own by hand. Correxio takes the repetitive part of grading off your hands; the final judgement stays yours.

Any handwritten assignment graded against a rubric: maths, sciences, history and geography, languages, philosophy, economics… from middle school to higher education. Mathematical formulas and code are recognised and display correctly in annotations and in the export.

The AI follows the rubric you give it strictly, question by question, and a question left blank scores zero. Its reading still depends on the scan quality and on how legible the handwriting is: that is why the review screen shows the paper next to the scores, and warns you when the proposed total does not match your rubric's. Always review before exporting.

As PDFs (one file per paper, or a single PDF for the whole batch), as JPG, PNG or WebP images, or by photographing the papers with your phone after scanning the QR code shown on screen. You then group the pages paper by paper, automatically file by file or by hand.

Not necessarily. From the exam statement, the AI drafts a rubric that you are free to edit: add or remove a criterion, change the points, spell out what is expected. You can also enter your own rubric and, if you like, attach an answer key.

Several papers are graded in parallel, and you start reviewing as soon as the first one is ready, without waiting for the whole batch: the others appear as they are graded.

A CSV file of the scores, question by question, which opens in any spreadsheet, and for each paper an annotated PDF to hand back to the student: a summary page with the scores and the overall comment, then the paper's pages with their annotations. The whole batch can be downloaded at once as a ZIP.

Not directly: there is no automatic sync. The CSV export gives you every student's scores as a table, ready to copy into your school's system.

Yes. Correxio runs in the browser, on computer, tablet and phone, with nothing to install. On a phone the review screen is built for touch, and the camera scans papers directly.

Yes, always. The student's name is located and blacked out on the scan before the AI reads the paper, so it grades blind. The name stays on your side for the score export. If a name could not be masked (illegible handwriting, unusual position), the paper is flagged to you instead of being passed off as anonymous.

No. Papers are never sold or used to train a model, whether by us or by our providers: whatever your plan, they are processed under a contract that rules out any reuse for training.

Scans, scores and accounts are hosted in the European Union, and text recognition runs in France. The AI service that grades does not guarantee a fixed processing region: that transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The details are in our privacy policy, and a data processing agreement (DPA) is available for schools.

Scans are deleted automatically one year after grading ends, and you are warned by email beforehand. Scores and comments stay available for as long as your account exists. You can delete a batch, or your whole account, at any time.

The free plan includes 30 graded pages a month, with no credit card, enough to try the tool on a real batch. Exported annotated PDFs then carry a “Correxio” watermark. Paid plans offer 250 or 500 pages a month, without the watermark.

One graded page of a student's paper: a double sheet scanned on both sides therefore counts as four pages. The exam statement, the answer key and the rubric are not counted. The quota resets every month.

Yes, there is no commitment. You cancel yourself in one click from your subscription page, and access stays open until the end of the month already paid for.
